Kimberly Wallingford
DPT, PT Advanced, CertDN, CertVRS, CertOMT, CertMST
Kimberly was born and raised in Maine. She pursued her education at the University of Vermont, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. After graduating, Kimberly returned to Maine to begin her career, working in both the Portland and Brunswick areas before opening her own clinic in Freeport.
Her interest in physical therapy began at a young age, watching her father navigate two back surgeries and the challenges of rehabilitation and lifestyle changes that followed. This experience inspired her to pursue a career that would allow her to help others overcome similar obstacles.
Kimberly is committed to providing the best possible care to her patients. Since graduating, she has expanded her expertise with certifications in ultrasound-guided dry needling, vestibular and post-concussion rehabilitation, blood flow restriction therapy, spinal and joint manipulation, and Mulligan mobilization techniques. She loves to continuously learn new skills to incorporate into her treatments and ensure her patients get the most effective care.
Outside of the clinic, Kimberly stays active by trying new sports and outdoor activities. An avid snowboarder, she also enjoys boating and swimming in Casco Bay, spending beach days with friends, and playing softball. Kimberly’s dedication to both her patients and her personal well-being reflects her passion for leading an active, balanced life.
